Players at a Craps Game

If you are wanting excitement, noise and more entertainment than you can stand, then craps is the only game to bet on.

Craps is a fast-paced gambling game with whales, budget gamblers, and everyone in the middle. If you’re a people-watcher this is one game that you will absolutely enjoy observing. There is the high roller, buying in with a large amount of cash and making boisterous proclamations when he bets across the board, "Five Hundred and Twenty across," you’ll hear her say. She’s the gambler to observe at this game and they know it. The whale will either win big-time or lose big-time and there’s no in between.

There’s the budget gambler, most likely trying to acquaint himself with the whales. he/she will let the other players of books he’s read up on, on dice tossing and hang around the most accomplished shooter at the table, prepared to talk and "pick each others brains".

There’s the student of Frank Scoblete most recent craps class. Even though Frank is the best there is, his student needs to do his homework. This player will require 5 minutes to setup his dice, so apply patience.

My preferred individuals at the table are the true chaps from the old times. These elderly gentlemen are usually patient, almost always kind and will very likely always share pointers from the "good ole days."

When you take the plunge and choose to join the game, make sure you utilize appropriate etiquette. Locate a spot on the rail and put your money down in front of you in the "come" spot. Never do this when the dice are moving or you’ll be known as the last personality I wished to mention, the jerk.
