Are you a superstitious person? You know, the type of person who won’t open an umbrella under cover, won’t wander below a ladder and must turn around three times when walking over a grove in the cement?

Here is a list of the more familiar craps folklores compiled by some of the great craps players. By the way, they accept a lot of this crazyness too!

1. If the stickman changes, during a throw, a seven will follow.

2. If a drink hostess approaches the table, a seven will follow.

3. If the dice being thrown hits somebody’s money, a 7 is likely.

4. If the dice being tossed hits the glass, a seven will surface.

5. If there’s too much chatter amongst the croupiers, habitual sevens.

six. If the dice are rolled off the table, seven will be the following number.

seven. If new dice are asked for, 7 is likely to follow.

eight. If someone yells out the number "seven", a 7 will surely be next.

All of this might sound like a bunch of nothing to you but occasionally you might be engaged in an active game where the bones are passing a bit too often. If you pay attention, you’ll realize that several of the superstitions are, in reality, happening.

You’ll observe that the stickman is substituted a little too regularly, that instead of one cocktail server, the table now has 2 servers bringing drinks and a number of other strange happenings that ultimately mean a 7 is going to be thrown by the player.

Remember, you can constantly bring your wagers off the table and wait until the next tosser. You can also turn your wagers off, however, if you do, do not turn them back on, especially given that if you do… a seven will be next!
