You see a craps table with a couple of available positions. Which position should you take? That is a matter of individual choice. Is there a beautiful guy or female betting alone at one end of the craps table? Which players are using cigarettes? Which appear careless? Which seem drunk or awful? Pick a position where you will feel the most comfortable.
I like participating on the end, immediately next to the croupier. On the end, I don’t have to be concerned about folks on both sides of me. I don’t prefer wagering beside to the stickman because I always seem to get in the way of them reaching for the dice or maneuvering the stick.
After gambling for a bit, you will get a taste for your favorite spot. You don’t have an option when it’s packed. If you end up in a lousy spot (e.g., an awful guy is near you), just move to an additional free spot. If the craps table is full, wait until somebody leaves and take their position. Be aware of a player "coloring up," which is a sign that she’s departing, and tell the dealer that you would like to take over her seat. The dealer will then reserve that spot and not allow a new individual to rapidly step in. The croupier will amiably request the new individual to shift to the spot that you vacate. Obviously, when you switch positions, do not leave your your chips.
Gamblers next to you can have an affect on your feeling and complete playing experience. They can make it exciting or miserable. You could get stuck next to a chain-smoking fat guy with horrid body odor, or it might be a group of heavily drinking babes busting out of their skimpy tops. So, choose your spot wisely.
